New visual identity for Palas Iasi

PALAS

Palas Iasi is a real estate project in Romania that will feature retail, entertainment, a landscape garden, residential space and office space. The grand opening of the ‘miniature city’ is set for April 2012.

The project, envisioned by owner Iulian Dascalu, is implemented by Iulius Group , a leading developer and operator of malls and commercial centres in Romania. The Palas Iasi will create more than 4000 permanent jobs.

Brandient were commissioned to design a logo and visual identity to represent the cosmopolitan setup. The design was inspired by the client’s requirement to convey a sense of both urban sophistication and a zest for life. The new logo and visual manifestations are meant to reflect a modern brand and to inspire employees, business partners and the city’s residents.

“The logo is built around the rich royal history of the city and treated with a modern heraldic approach.’’ Says Ciprian Badalan, designer at Brandient.
